Cracked.com posted an article today entitled, "8 Famous Movies Made by the Last Person You'd Ever Suspect." Nice piece, but the one on George Miller--Mad Max director, George Miller--was my favorite. What movie did he direct that seems so odd? Why Babe, of course. Here's the pay-off image (and quote) from the article:

Pretty funny, but I always think of Roald Dahl as an author of some twisted adult fiction before I think about his kids stuff. He's one of my favorite authors.
He also led a pretty rough life, but he kept on fighting against the problems. One of his children was born with hydrocephalus - and he helped invent a shunt that removed the fluid from the brain. When his wife (actress Patricia Neal) suffered an stroke, he stayed by her bedside, continually talking to her on the belief that it might help wake her.
I didn't know he was married to Patricia Neal. She acted some after a stroke, I remember. Tough old lady.
He was buddies with Ian Fleming, right?
Yeah, although I think the author of the Cracked piece pointed out that writing the Bond script might have strained their friendship.
I'm sure they solved everything with a couple of bottles of Tattinger, extremely chilled, and a pitcher of vodka martinis.
I think the argument ended up being rekindled over whether the martinis should be shaken or stirred.
Thus was born the child kidnapper from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
